Something Big Is Coming

Key Texts: Galatians 3:15–29; John 14:12; Colossians 1:27
Theme: God has placed the living seed—Christ—within every believer. This seed carries the potential for multiplication and transformation, calling us to live a surrendered life that produces visible fruit and impact in everyday spaces.
The Call to Expect More
The message begins with a call to shift perspective—“something big is coming” is not a warning of disaster, but an invitation to expect God’s movement. As believers, we are called to approach God with anticipation, recognising that He desires to reveal His heart through His people.
Faith is not meant to be passive or routine, but alive and expectant.
Application: Come before God with expectation, believing He is actively moving in and through your life.
Beyond Sunday Christianity
Being a Christian is more than attending church or identifying with a belief system. True faith produces transformation that extends into everyday life—from Monday through the rest of the week.
The purpose of gathering is to know God more deeply so that His presence can be revealed consistently in daily environments.
Application: Evaluate whether your faith is influencing your daily life beyond church settings.
Christ in You: The Living Seed
The Gospel is not only about Jesus who came and ascended, but about Jesus who lives within us. Scripture describes Him as the seed—singular and alive—planted in every believer.
This truth, “Christ in you, the hope of glory,” must become a personal revelation, not just a theological concept.
Application: Embrace the reality that Christ is actively living and working within you.
The Principle of the Seed
A natural seed carries the potential to grow, multiply, and produce a harvest. This is easily understood and accepted. Yet spiritually, many struggle to believe in the same principle.
For growth to occur, a seed must be planted. Likewise, believers must be fully surrendered and rooted in Christ for transformation to take place.
Application: Allow your life to be fully “planted” in Christ through surrender and daily dependence.
Rooted Before Revealed
Growth begins beneath the surface. A seed develops roots before it produces visible fruit. In the same way, spiritual growth starts internally before it is expressed outwardly.
Being rooted in Christ establishes stability, identity, and long-term fruitfulness.
Application: Prioritise deep, personal relationship with God over outward appearances.
From Potential to Fruitfulness
Carrying the seed is not the same as producing fruit. Many believers have the knowledge of Christ but lack evidence of His work in their lives.
The expectation of the seed is multiplication—one becoming many. This fruit is seen not only in personal growth but in the lives impacted through us.
Application: Reflect on whether your life is producing spiritual fruit that benefits others.
Faith in Action
The power of the Gospel is not limited to dramatic signs and wonders. It is also revealed through simple acts of love, obedience, and faith in everyday situations.
Living with awareness of Christ within enables believers to respond with authority, compassion, and confidence in any circumstance.
Application: Practise expressing your faith through both small and significant actions.
Living as a Blessing
God’s intention is not only to bless individuals but to make them a blessing to others. The seed within us is meant to nourish, impact, and transform those around us.
This extends beyond formal ministry into daily interactions—with family, colleagues, neighbours, and communities.
Application: Look for opportunities to share God’s love in practical and intentional ways.
A New Picture of Revival
Revival is not confined to large gatherings or events. It is expressed through transformed lives in everyday environments—homes, workplaces, schools, and communities.
As believers live out their faith authentically, the presence of God becomes evident in ordinary spaces.
Application: Be intentional about carrying God’s presence into your daily environments.
Responding to the Seed
The message concludes with a call to action: to not remain passive, but to respond to the seed within. Growth and multiplication require participation—surrender, faith, and obedience.
Believers are encouraged to step out intentionally, allowing God to work through their lives to impact others.
Application: Take practical steps to share Christ with others and live out your faith boldly.

Closing Summary
God has placed His very best—the living seed of Christ—within every believer. This seed carries the power to grow, multiply, and transform lives. However, it requires surrender, faith, and intentional living.
“Something big is coming” is not just a statement of expectation, but a call to action. As we allow Christ to grow in us and live through us, one life can become many, and ordinary moments can become opportunities for transformation.
Where the seed is planted and nurtured, a harvest will surely come.
